On your marks, get set, go. Just a week remains before travel packages, including tickets, go on pre-sale to the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Come April 4-15 next year, Australia’s best athletes will be on their starting marks ready to put on an amazing show of strength, endurance, skill and grit for sports lovers. And on June 26, the official pre-sale of travel packages, including event tickets, will begin.
Two authorised travel agents have been appointed to assist spectators with travel packages for their games experience.
Flight Centre Travel Group, including brands Flight Centre, Escape Travel and Travel Associates, and ATPI Sports Events have exclusive rights to sell Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games travel packages in Australia and a number of other Commonwealth nations and territories.
Agents have event travel packages available for preview ahead of ticket release to help with planning as tickets are limited.
Travel packages can include flights, ground transport, accommodation and games tickets.
“As well as games-related travel options, both ATAs can book tickets and/or entry to major Queensland attractions and destination experiences on the Gold Coast, throughout Queensland and around Australia,” Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation chairman Peter Bettie said.
