Get around Rottnest in air-conditioned comfort using the new Island Explorer annual pass.
Regular visitors to Rottnest Island can now take advantage of an annual pass providing unlimited use of the Island Explorer hop-on, hop-off bus service and the accommodation shuttle that runs between Georgie Bay, Kingston Barracks and the Settlement.
"The Island Explorer service is fully wheelchair accessible and air-conditioned so it’s a great option for families with young children and prams that find the hassle of transporting bikes to the island just too difficult," explained Adam Barnard, managing director of the ADAMS Group, which operates the service.
"In addition to the introduction of an annual transport pass, we are also doubling the frequency of the Island Explorer service from December 1 until February 28, 2018, meaning buses will depart every 20 minutes during the day, seven days per week."
Day passes for the Island Explorer bus usually cost $20 for adults, but the annual passes are $50 for adults, $35 for concessions and $25 for children.
They're available at the Rottnest Island Visitor Centre.
