Arrivals & Departures New Wilderness Ocean Walk Trail opens near Denmark

The completion of the 6.2km trail provides a link between Ocean Beach and William Bay National Park.

Enjoy views along WA's wild south coast on your next trip to the Great Southern with a new coastal walking and cycling path near Denmark.

The new Wilderness Ocean Walk Trail connects Lights Beach, Back Beach and the Denmark Community Windfarm along the Wilson Head reserve, with views of Wilson Inlet, Monkey Rock and surrounding farmland. 

The completion of the 6.2km trail provides a link between Ocean Beach and William Bay National Park. It also links to the Munda Biddi Trail and the Bibbulmun Track for longer excursions. 

The 2m-wide trail has seating along the way, with amenities at both Ocean Beach and Lights Beach. 

Walkers should allow 90 minutes and cyclists 40 minutes to complete the trail one-way.
