Qatar Airways it celebrating its new Airbus A380 service from Perth with return flights to London from $1170.
From May 1, Qatar will operate its Perth-Doha service using state-of-the-art new Airbus A380 aircraft featuring seating in first, business and economy classes over two decks.
Travellers will be able to connect to the airline's A380 flights to London and Paris via a short stop at Hamad International Airport in Doha.
To celebrate, special fares have been released, including return flights to London from $1170 in economy class and from $5950 in business. You'll be able to get to Paris and back from $1095 in economy and from $5840 in business.
Other return specials from Perth include from $1035 to Dublin, Edinburgh from $1175, Barcelona from $1050, Manchester from $1180, Cardiff from $1185 and Zurich from $1065.
Business class aboard the A380s has fully lie-flat beds in a 1-2-1 configuration to ensure every seat is on the aisle. Business and first classes share the lounge — a welcome change from your seat on long-haul flights.
In economy, higher ceilings on the main deck and a configuration that uses fewer seats contributes to a feeling of spaciousness. Seats have more legroom, a greater angle of recline and contoured headrests.
Qatar Airways is also offering one of the best stopover deals around, with a free stay in Doha at an international hotel and free transit visa.
Travellers can get a free one-night stay at a four or five-star hotel including the Marriott Marquis Doha and Souq Waqif Boutique Hotel, with two night for $100. The offer applies to bookings with the airline before December 30 and for stays until April 30.
