Our latest Meet the Team event was an enjoyable evening full of interesting questions, tips and advice about the world of cruising.
Outside cabins, all-you-can-eat buffets, virtual balconies and single supplements were just a few of the discussion points raised during our Meet the Team #2 Cruising held at Seven West Media recently.
The panel-style presentation was hosted by staff cruising writers Niall McIlroy and Jan Bromilow with special guest Libby Holle - marketing manager from Holiday Planet.
The evening opened with refreshments and a meet and greet before the team looked at some of the new ships and fresh itineraries available to travellers.
A question and answer session followed with Libby and Jan using their experience of cruising to respond with some very useful advice, particularly on the curly issues of solo cabins and early versus late bookings.
Throughout, the event was a truly interactive affair with information and opinions flowing freely between team and audience. Thanks to all who attended and made it such a enjoyable evening.
The next event Meet the Team #3 Insurance will held on October 6 from 5.45 pm when Niall McIlroy will be joined by Kate Foster from Cover-More Travel Insurance.
The pair will examine a wide range of insurance topics from being covered for pre-existing conditions, tips about how much excess to pay, what people need to consider if they are over 70 or 80, repatriation costs and how you’re covered in the event of natural disasters.
