The dreaded single supplement has been cast away by one cruise operator.
Avalon Waterways has “waived” goodbye to single supplements on all of its 2017 river cruises, as well as its 2018 preview cruises.
Available on both Avalon’s Europe and Asia departures, the offer applies to all cabin classes except Royal Suites (Europe) and Category A (Asia), and is valid for bookings made by April 4.
Popular itineraries include the 13-day Fascinating Vietnam, Cambodia and The Mekong River from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap, departing July on 31, with a discounted single price from $6159 per person (a saving of $3517).
The 13-day the Rhine and Moselle cruise between Basel and Amsterdam departs on October 24 and has been discounted to $6644 per person (a saving of $3430).
The 10-day Balkan Discovery from Budapest to Bucharest, departing April on 25, 2018, is now priced from $4594 per person, a saving of $2415.
Another discounted 2018 departure is the eight-day Paris to Normandy cruise, a round-trip voyage from Paris that departs on October 27. It costs from $3714 per person, with the discount saving $1912.
All prices are based on lead-in stateroom accommodation and include taxes, and are subject to availability and conditions.
