Six chefs with a collective eight Michelin stars will descend on some of the most beautiful resorts in the Maldives this October.
The one-off luxury culinary experience will take place at resorts Soneva Fushi and Soneva Jani, but the stars of the show will be the six chefs, who all hail from the Netherlands and are lead by chef Henk Savelberg.
All the chefs have worked in prestigious establishments around the world, from trailblazing restaurants all the way to the White House.
Three events will take place at the two resorts from October 21-25, including a one-night-only Michelin takeover of every Soneva restaurant in the Maldives.
Guests will also be able to sample flavours from across the globe during the food journeys, where Michelin-starred stalls run the length of Soneva Fushi.
The final event is a battle where teams of chefs go head-to-head in a fight-for-survival cooking contest.
Soneva Fushi has 57 private villas with their own stretch of beach, an open-air Cinema Paradiso, observatory, homemade chocolate and ice cream rooms, a selection of 500 wines, and nine dining options.
Soneva Jani has 24 water villas and one island villa. Every water villa has a private pool and opens onto its own stretch of lagoon, with some villas featuring slides going directly from the top deck into the lagoon below.
- The food journey costs from $US450 per person, while the battle costs $US350 per person.
